Waikiki Aquarium and Diamond Head

Aloha, We have just returned back from Big Island which was interesting, went up to the Volcano and the visitor centre for the observatory although the highlight for my would have to be either the all you can eat buffet @ Pizza hut or maybe even breakfast in Mcdonalds... hard to decide..Anyways, little behind with the pictures so you will have to wait a little longer for those, here's some of the waikiki Aquarium, Waikiki itself and Diamond head. well, been a busy few days over here and packed a lot in. Surfed Rocky point a couple of days ago, went round the Waikiki Aquarium yesterday and today, Christmas day, I had a burger for lunch!! I also surfed me new stick which went really well, even if the waves really wern't that great and it took 1/2 hour to get one to myself!! A few surf pics from the last couple of days.

Kaena Point, Oahu

Today or at least yesterday even, we had THE best breakfast ever...3x choc chip pancakes and then walked along Kaena point which is the far North Western tip of Oahu. Stunning scenery although we went after it had rained for 3 days and eneded up getting really muddy!! We didn't make it to the end as it would have got dark and its not the sort of place you want to get stuck!! Check out the pictures!

Random...

Well, not much has really happened over the last few days here, i've done some snorkelling, I went out and surfed the north shore @ 6-8feet and scared myself this morning which was nice, driven around some more and had a meal at "Dukes" in waikliki which was really nice. Here are some random photos from around the island

Check out the size of this truck... these are everywhere although this one was totally new and really clean

Turtles and some fish

Went snorkelling out in front of the house this morning before we went out for the day and was lucky enough to see 3 turtles and loads of fish, the visability was great!

Pipeline Masters

The Final of the Billabong Pipeline Masters was today and was won by Jeremy Flores of France! The waves wern't epic by any means, probably in the 4-6' range although the level of surfing was nothing short of incredable!! Check out the pictures below! photos: Rico

Whales!

Just got back from a super fun surf at Halawea and while sitting having a beer, a pod of Humpback whales cruesed past out front of the house! We counted 4 in total but there could have been more.. Photos: Chris Stamper.
